1. Who we are and what you are agreeing to

Wig Addiction LLC, doing business as Wig Addiction Marketplace ("we", "us"), operates the website at www.sellwigaddiction.com, an online marketplace where independent sellers list wigs, hair toppers and wig supplies for sale to buyers. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the marketplace, whether you browse, buy or sell.

By creating an account, listing an item or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Shipping Policy and our Refunds and Returns Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the marketplace.

2. The marketplace and your account

Wig Addiction Marketplace is a platform that connects buyers and independent sellers. We are not the seller of any item listed, we do not own the items, and we are not a party to the sale. Each purchase is a contract between the buyer and the seller. We provide the listings, messaging, secure checkout through Stripe, order tracking and dispute assistance.

To buy or sell you need an account. Sign-in is by a link sent to your email address. When you use the marketplace you agree that:

• The information on your account is accurate and kept up to date
• You are at least 18 years old
• Your sign-in link and account are personal; you are responsible for everything done under your account
• You will not create more than one account or use someone else’s account

3. Buying

All purchases are paid by card through our secure Stripe checkout. Do not pay a seller outside the marketplace; purchases made off-platform are not protected. At checkout you enter your shipping address and phone number, which are shared with the seller so she can ship your order. You are responsible for the accuracy of that address.

The seller is paid only after your order has been marked shipped with a tracking number. If a seller does not ship within 7 days, the order is cancelled and you are refunded automatically. Other refunds follow our Refunds and Returns Policy. Wigs are personal-use, hygiene-sensitive items, so please read the condition notes and ask the seller questions before you buy.

4. Selling

Sellers must verify their identity and bank details with Stripe before they can be paid. By listing an item you confirm that you own it and have the right to sell it, that your photos are of the actual item and belong to you, and you grant us a licence to display your listing content on the marketplace and in our promotion of it. As a seller you agree to:

• Describe items accurately and disclose any wear, alterations, damage, odors or repairs
• List only wigs, hair toppers, wig supplies and wig-related items
• Ship every order within 7 days, with tracking, and enter the tracking number on the order; unshipped orders are cancelled and refunded automatically
• Keep the sale on the marketplace: listings and messages may not include outside links, payment links, email addresses, phone numbers or other attempts to move a transaction off the platform

5. Fees

Listing is free and there are no monthly seller fees. When an item sells, a marketplace commission of 10% of the item price and Stripe’s card processing fee (currently 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) are deducted from the sale before the seller is paid. Shipping paid by the buyer is passed to the seller in full. Buyers pay no marketplace fee. We may change fees with at least 30 days’ notice on the marketplace.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove listings, and suspend or close accounts, for breaches of these Terms, including inaccurate listings, failure to ship, attempts to move sales off the platform, harassment of other members, fraud or chargeback abuse. Repeated failures to ship result in removal as a seller. You may close your account at any time by contacting [email protected]; orders already placed must still be fulfilled.

7. Limitation of liability

Because we are not the seller, Wig Addiction LLC is not responsible for the condition, quality, safety or legality of items listed, for the accuracy of listings, or for a seller’s or buyer’s performance. We may assist with disputes but are not obliged to resolve them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wig Addiction LLC and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the marketplace fees we received on the transaction concerned.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved between us will be brought in the courts of Missouri.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date, and for material changes we will give notice on the marketplace or by email. Continuing to use the marketplace after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
